This documentary takes us on a profound journey with Grandfather Jattopa (Rufino Pónare), spiritual leader of the Huottoja indigenous people, as he leads us through their sacred lands in the Amazon. As the last living guardian of the ancestral practice of sung prayers, Jattopa’s mission is to weave, activate, and protect his territory, ensuring the survival of his people's sacred traditions amidst growing threats.

On a pilgrimage through the calling of the sacred mountains in the magical landscape of Peru, we accompany the Q'ero First Nation - the last descendants of the Inka empire. A nation that lives by the means of their ancient wisdom, seeking for key elements that were lost on the way of globalization, to keep guaranteeing the balance of nature and society in the Andes. In community, together with their flutes and llamas, they descend from the Andes to the jungle as their ancestors once did. Guided by the Apus and Hallp'a Mama, they walk in prayer performing their rituals in sacred grounds, inviting back the being of communion. On the way, they have magical encounters with other seekers reaffirming the presence of Ayni - the act of sacred reciprocity. The outcome is the reconnection with the coca leaf in an ancestral way by meeting Don Fortunato, one of the last guardians and practitioners of the sacred ritual of the Kuka Saruy.
