LIVING SOILS RISING An Improvisational Community Natural Dye Workshop

Join us for the first FREE Community Natural Dye Workshop on Saturday February 8, 3:30 - 7:30 PM at @Ofrendafest in Long Island City.

All ages - Everybody is welcome!

We will participate in the dynamic and transformative process of dyeing fabrics with locally foraged plants, using them as a creative medium for our collective expression. This hands-on activity is a vital step in creating 60 unique soil-meditation objects, each representing a connection to the earth and our shared environment. These objects will play a key role in LIVING SOILS RISING, an ambitious and immersive participatory performance designed to gather an audience of 600 people to inspire a healing liberation of the soils where the fossil fuel industry originated in 1867 and collectively envision a sustainable energy future.
